SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed regarding the substantial variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The service issue made for intervention activities a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to click here attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
